Bio

Rising from the seedy depths of Melbourne’s black and death metal scenes, Rob Clark a.k.a Satyriasis first heard the harder sounds of electronic music just after he turned seventeen. Coming from a large musical background and influenced heavily by the rock tastes of his parents, Rob grew up playing Guitar, Bass and Drums as well as playing in various bands, as soon as he started writing and producing electronic music he knew he had found his niche.

Starting off writing eclectic guitar laced hardcore and acid, after a few years of honing his skills his close friend Hellraiser pricked up his ears to the dark, noisy guitar and metal orientated sounds he was creating and a new project was spawned. It was then that production became a lot more serious for Satyriasis.

It was not long after they started writing together they sent their first project Grind This from the Grindhouse E.P to Dj Thera owner of Theracords who instantly signed the Duo. Since then Satyriasis has had a splattering of successful releases and remixes together with Hellraiser and also with The Engineer spanning a wide range of genres from Acid to Schranz.

With his first Solo E.P nearly complete, a wide range of projects and remixes on the way and his recent debut DJ set supporting Stana being extremely well received, the future is a bright light in his dark world….
