Devin Wild kicked off brand new live act INTO DEEP at REBiRTH

A few days ago, Devid Wild announced his brand new The_Innergame show for 2024's festival season. "Exploring the depths of the mind with my brand new show," he mysteriously teased. Last Saturday, REBiRTH Festival was his first stop, as INTO DEEP was set to premiere on the mainstage. Hardstyle.com was there to report.

Devin Wild's vision for INTO DEEP is refreshingly original. With this new show, he wants to connect the surface mind with what's underneath. The intro text of his live act makes that clear from the very first minute of this new The_Innergame show, which drew thousands of visitors to the mainstage of REBiRTH Festival.

Starting off with an energetic shout of "What's up REBiRTH!" through the microphone, Devin Wild launched into his set with a new The_Innergame intro, leading into the much-anticipated track 'I Won't Let You Down.' In this first INTO DEEP appearance, Devin Wild showcases a new outfit. Gone is the helmet that hid his face in his previous live act outfit, replaced by a large black cap that helps him better connect with the audience.

Something that stood out from the other sets at the mainstage was the surreal visuals that really suited the live act. The INTO DEEP trailer already gave us a glimpse of what was to come, but witnessing it firsthand left the audience incredibly impressed by the creative visuals.

For example, the audience witnessed surreal scenes like a shark gliding through the air over a landscape of glaciers and a ray swimming above a city. All these visuals were displayed on the massive screens of the grand mainstage, as well as above every bar. This made the setting feel intimate, even though the SCANTRAXX artist was performing on the biggest stage of the festival season kick-off. 

In those 30 minutes on stage, Devin Wild didn't only play solo tracks like 'Unseen Beasts,' 'Holy Grounds,' and his edit of 'Vois Sur Ton Chemin,' but he also invited The Purge on stage with him to play their brand new track 'Dancing In The Sky.' This energetic track is a follow-up to their popular track 'Euphoria,' and the crowd really seemed to love every second of it. After that, his collaboration with Riot Shift, 'BLACK HOLE,' blasted through the speakers.

"This Innergame was playing a trick with your mind. The future sound is here to stay. REBiRTH, make some noise for Devin Wild!" With those words, MC Villain ended the first INTO DEEP showcase. Devin Wild truly showcased his best music with this The_Innergame live set, accompanied by a show full of fire and lasers, kicking off the outdoor festival season with a bang.

Instagram buzzed with beloved reactions after the live act. "What a set! Loved this to the max!" and "Devin Wild is on fire as always" set the tone for the upcoming festival season.
